I couldn't agree more, I can't count the times I've had to bail out some pup because he "couldn't" get it done, I started out as a splicer/tech and then went into construction and could sit here for an hour telling stories of some of the old dawgs I had the pleasure of working with, just plain ole tough, Albany Ga, all 1. and .875, they had no boards, you bent them by hand and then hung off the loop and yelled go lasher! Climbing lay ups, sliding out on your belt, riding on down guys, hauling up fully loaded "G" lashers on interstate crossings, I am proud to have worked with these men, they just don't make them like that anymore. Hey Semper Fi, old cable was just like 1st Phase in boot camp, the pups drop like flys, I went in Platoon #1076 (1977-80) with 87 men, we graduated 37.
