This job started out as a round dish 145 feet away from the structure running a round dish to a 3x4 multiswitch to 4 irds, all working well when I arrived.
The customer bought a Phillips (I think) HD ird. As a sub sub sub sub I went ot to do a box swap and hang the multisat. I ran 145' of rg6 (x 2) lines to serve the HD and one of the HDBs(Hughes standalones)
After tuning the multi sat and doing the box swap the customer wanted to try the HD channels. They looked great for about a minute and then crashed.
During trouble shooting we discovered that the HD channels went away only when the regular ird was connected to the system.
Now the customer wants his fourth ird running again. Alkl the wire is either new or had been serving OK. The 145' drop and the HD receiver seem to be the issues and the relation of the amped multisat dish to additional boosts. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
