Red Cross may suck in some things but not all - when fire destroyed our house 6 years ago 2 days after Xmas they were there within an hour with shelter at a local hotel for 3 days, food money, and clothing money to replace some we'd lost...they kept us going for those initial "shock" days when you kind of wander around wondering what the hell happened....every organization has a greedy side but there are 2 sides....Happy New Year one and all!
