Re: What's the skinny on DirecWay ?

they are not that hard after the first couple. Finding the golf ball size signal is the hardest. You need either a laptop or a Birdog type meter. There is a bunch of sat's they use all over the place. From east, south, west. Plus after you peak out your signal remember you have to adjust for polarity on the trasmit signal strength. Another thing to look forward to is customers computers either being to slow or just not wanting to take the software or drivers. A install that goes smoothly will take about 2 hours with instruction. My advice is to check the customers computer completly and defrag it if it is to bad. Oh and look for programs that work against Directways software. Like weatherbug, Mcfee Virus, some firewall programs, and junk that you can usually download for free. Groundcontrol.com I do believe is a good website to check out, other than that, the DW tech support for installers is awesome.
