The whomper is agreat tool,you must learn to respect it.I have seen many types,a friend of mine came up with a half moon type blade,I have been useing it for 10 years. Yes,it works best in Fla,but still has uses in other areas.It is good for cutting your Sod.b4 hand dig,and it is beter than an ax for cutting roots!Bottom line you must love hard labor to appreciate it!!!I love to Dig!!Merry Christmas!
