Yes to both questions.If I know something is at 15" i can push past it @ 32" sometimes i'm traped where a gas line is under a drive or a roadand i have to get under it also. i specalize in drops to houses Phone and CATV useing a DW520 and a case maxi and a mini. I have been useing a progresive locator (501)
