Somehow CABL's server got onto another Spam block list. For the past week, possibly two for some, mail going to certain servers was getting rejected. If you were expecting e-mail and didn't receive it (such as a new account activation) this is why. If you mailed me about it and didn't receive a reply, same thing.
I gave up trying to manage the outgoing mail server on CABL and am now using a service that will stay clear of the block lists, so it should never be a problem again.
This morning I re-sent activation codes to all recently created accounts that weren't yet activated. If you tried registering for an account in the past few days but still haven't received the activation letter, use the form to request it at http://cabl.com/bar/reqpass.htm. If for some reason that doesn't work then write me.
I also changed the way mail is sent in order to accomodate the off-site mail handling. All mail will be sent with ''CABL Bar'' as the FROM address. Before, if you were sending mail through the form it would use your e-mail address. No more. Now your address is inserted as a REPLY TO header so even though the true sender (CABL Bar) is used, when the recipient replies to the mail it will still go directly to your own e-mail address. Naturally this doesn't apply to Premier accounts since they don't go through the mail form.
Finally, I had to restrict some of the less important e-mail (like the Private Message notifications) to just Premier accounts in order to cut down the volume of outgoing mail.
There shouldn't be any problems because of these changes but if any questions let me know.
E-mail issues, again
