After over 25 years, I can now say that I'm done.
I'm leaving the Industry to join the family business, selling and renting masonry scaffolding.
My wife and I leave MD for Phoenix AZ 11-30-04, both of us to start new careers.
I've been fortunate to have learned the cable industry from some of the best; starting as a 20 year old grunt-kid, and ending as a 47 year young man.
My thanks to all who contributed to my learning and advancement in this industry. My appreciation to those who endured my mistakes. I hope that I made a memorable contribution to someone in this field. I hope that I will not be back.
This is an honorable place, hard working good people thrive here.
I will likely not find this kind of heart and dedication as numerous and strong as I have seen here.
I'll be back to the Bar occasionally, of course, to remember what I'm missing, but my gut feeling is that I truly won't be back as an active member in the industry.
Thanks everyone!
No! I'm not selling my tools!
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
