the sa taps that we use don't even have a connection on the
output side, therefore there is no way it can cause cpd
(unless i'm missing something)
cpd can be caused by many things, including corroded f conn.
are the line terminators tight? could there be galvanic action caused by the metals being different? are you sure that you didn't move the drop cables and connectors slightly and THAT cleared up your cpd?
