I wouldn't say buy out from what they are saying. They are just shutting down and going out of business. Both the Myrtle Beach and Florence offices shut up tight and most of the trucks and equipment have been sold off. I just hope this doesn't end up being another repeat like Figure 8 was earlier this year.
Beacon is holding on me as well as others around 2 months pay plus retainage. Kind of sucks there are no laws in SC to protect subs as the mechanics lien isn't allowed on utility where they don't own the easement. Best we can hope for is they finally pay or take them to small claims and get a worthless judgement. Reason I say worthless is because as long as they don't do business in the name again then it's worthless.
