Yeah I worked on that job from the start when Andrea Burnett started it under the reigns of Rite Cable. I had worked for Rite quite a few times and never had a problem. My bud, Dan Cockrell, was the one that got me down to that job.
Once Rite got taken over by White Mountain is was all downhill from there. I know to well about their slick charge back policy at the end. Ended up getting scammed for about $5k myself. Some I had heard it was closer to $50k with some large splicing group that was down there.
Thanks for the comments, yep that was me down there. We ended up driving that rod and scrared the crap out of us. No way to really get around it and it was just one of those things I guess. Luckily power company didn't do a charge on it. From that point forward I wouldn't drive another rod due to the possibilities without locates.
Really sad some of the things that have taken place with that MSO locally over the past couple of years.
