Been contracting within the SC Time Warner systems for a number of years. Been good until this past year or so. Can't say for sure what's up and where whether it's the MSO or the contractor's themselves.
If you want to get paid for what you do be wary of working for Figure 8 Cable Services, Beacon Communications, or even the above MSO in this SC. Both Figure 8 and Beacon are no longer in business and myself and other subs are out a total of 5+ months pay. The MSO has nothing to say about it.
I or my company can not continue with non-payment like that and I'm done.
But like I said think twice before working in this area. The only contractor left that still will pay and hold to it's word is Partner's Comm.
Kind of hate this cause cable has been in my blood for a long time. But because of this it's out right now with a very bad taste in my mouth.
