I have been all over the USA doing contract work. Mostly sweep work and some splicing. I have talked to inhouse techs in every system I've ever worked on and have never heard of any of them making anything close to $17.50 an hour. Most of the system mgrs that I have talked to are lucky to be getting $40,000 a year. The lead maint. techs I have talked to are making $11- $13 an hour. Signal2 what cable company is it you work for and where do I get an application? Relocating to the northeast would not be a problem for me.
