Thats how I see it too. Whats really sad though is if you put a lien on the home where you did the install the only one you hurt is the Home Owner, and they have nothing to do with any of it. Thats fighting really dirty, and it's truely pointless. I am sure there are other ways to get attention from the guy who owes you money. I admire people who admit when they are wrong, take thier lumps, and, pay up, also those of us who do beautiful work no matter what happens because we have pride in ourselves.....if some cable guy put a lien on my home........boy howdy, there would be trouble a brewin when I called the cable company or satelite company via my attorney. Making the customers pay for stuff the Industry does is why we are at the bottom of all Industries in Customer Satisfation, low quality work for low pay, liens on peoples homes, all that BS. Only we can make things change, we are the face of the Client, we do the installs, we meet the homeowners and shake thier hands, then we turn around and stick our fist right up thier a**. Now tell me something, is that fair?
