Standing Waves On SAII System Amps

I've been running into a lot of SAII system amps that are causing standing waves which in turn cause intermintent issues to cable products. Sometimes I find it to be the AGC in the mod and sometimes I just have to replace the entire mod all together. Anybody got any ideas what else I can check to find the root cause of this standing wave predicamint I'm in?
