Amen! And that is why the quality of the work has gone downhill. It is a shame when an experienced tech (sat or cable) has to work for the prices that are out there. Some of us who do quality work will eventually find work in another field. It seems that few companies realize that without their techs, they would have no customers. It really torques me whan I hear a big wig at one of these companies say that their only link to their customers is either their sales people or CSRs. What a joke!!!!! The tech is normally the only company rep who has face to face contact with the subscribers, not the salesman or CSRs.
