Re: Our Marine

My wife and I feel what you are feeling. We have a son/stepson that is a Marine in Iraq now. He says he can't tell us what his unit is doing over there which makes it all the more unnerving. Also, I have a brother in the Navy that has been in all conflicts overseas since 1985, including the Persian Gulf, that is over in Iraq. He also says he can't tell me anything other than, "hey, Saddam, can your children come out to play?" May be his sick sense of humor or may just be his way of covering up false bravado. Either way, my wife and I pray for both of them to come home safe, just as we pray for all other personal overseas to come home safe. Our prayers are with you also.
