It's okay to post jokes about public figures. It's not okay to make personal attacks.
Say CableHeather posts a joke about Michael Jackson being assaulted in prison. Would it be okay for someone who doesn't like her (think a person with sympathetic Jehova religious persuasion) to "joke" that a few guys from the Bar should get together and rape her? Of course not. You'd want that person gone.
I try to be fair. The account was originally suspended for only a short time. But afterward, the antagonistic replies continued and a statement was made to the effect that he had no intention to stop. Case closed.
