Cox in New Orleans - Saints or Crooks?

My company had a contract to perform locating services in New Orleans for Cox Communications earlier this year. We worked for three months until we informed them we had to give the contract back because of no decent plant maps, poor field support from their people, and that they were not paying their invoices on time. After we notified them of our intent to give up the contract, they came out with all these so called at-fault damages in an attempt to keep from paying their invoices. Cox claimed we were guilty of at least 6 major damages, however, we provided investigations and proof that our company was not liable for any of them. They agreed with our investigations on all but one that was in the $5000 range, and used that as an excuse to not pay what they owed us. They said they had an expert opinion from a Mickey Redwine that said we were at fault for this damage. We are in the final stages of preparing a lawsuit against Mr. Redwine and Cox Communications to try and recover our money.

Has anyone had similar dealings with Cox Communications in New Orleans? Have you done work for them and not been paid? If so, we encourage you to contact us. We will foot the bill for the lawsuit, but would like to get more feedback from other contractors that might have had similar issues with Cox. Please reply via email to (-REDACTED-) .
