Re: Easiest way to do a driveway bore?

Hay Vic,

Used depends on who you buy it from. Our big compressor, we picked up used from an equipment dealer for 3500, the missiles we buy new from Grundomat. I know the Grundomat 1 3/4" with the oiler, hoses, oil, and misc stuff, goes between 2900 and 3100 new. you can probably get them a lot cheaper used, you just have to watch who you buy from.

Compressors, you can usually find in the equipment trader papers, or the want ads. We just picked up a Smith200 from a dealer for 2800, 1800 hrs on the machine, rebuilt John Deere diesel with less then 100 hrs on it, the dealer bought it from an equipment rental store. the thing runs brand new.

Also check out rental places, a lot of them will sell you their used stuff for cheap money.
