Re: Easiest way to do a driveway bore?

Hey Vic guess you could do like Sunset has there on a driveway but sure bet it would be slow on a 12' to 15' driveway. Been in the drop plowing business for years best to go with a machine with a hydra bore or some boring machine for sure, sidewalks can be done with just a ole ground rod and a small sledge if you have to.
Drop buries have generally been decent paying but as of lately the prices have been going to chit tooooo!!! all sidewalks included, of course they want to pay you less and want you to fix those sprinkler systems and Invisi-Fences AFTER the Dang DOG BITES YA
Oh NOT to mention those Builders that put that water line UNDER the DRIVEWAY so as to make sure it never gets cut <--- that makes bores WONDERFUL being after you replace the cement they Gripe about Now the new cement don't match the old.... Oh one last thing the homeowner isn't about to let you fix it you MUST be a licensed plumber SOOOOOOOOO after you do finally get a cement saw sheesh it's late NOW the family needs a Motel room for the night.(Pray they don't bring the receipts from Red Lobster for Dinner for the whole family)... hummmm lets see I was gonna make a whole 65.00 to 70.00 here!!! lets see 3 yards of Cement @ 65.00 yd= 195.00, 1 night at a motel 90.00, Licensed Plumber & the repair 125.00, Don't forget to bring the power washer so you can make that old cement match the new, hummm wonder if they are going to make me replace that sod?

Vic you sure you want to Bury Drops(spin)

No really doesn't happen to often but it DOES

Have a Great Day!!! (wink)
