Depends on what type of work you are looking to do. There is not just a couple of primes here that get all of the work. There are more contract companies that pop up here than anywhere I've ever seen.

As far as construction - there is nothing and I mean nothing to be had here. Oh, they may offer 4 bucks a tap - IF you can find that. I've been trying to find something for months - no luck.

Installations can be had - you can make a G a week if you work sun to sun six days a week. Don't forget that is with your own truck and tools and insurance.
