What you're talking about isn't going to be fixed by a union, at least the way things are going. The same thing is happening to every occupation all across the country. It's supply and demand. The last four years have seen a net loss of a million jobs in this country. Considering that the working population increases about 150K per month by birth and immigration, the counry is 8 MILLION jobs behind where it was 4 years ago. It's no wonder everyone is fighting over scraps.
The "voodoo economics" tax cuts have been a miserable failure. This is the worst economy in terms of jobs since the Great Depression. Why half this country seems hell bent on continuing this stupid path is beyond me.
