Gary Knight announced on Wednesday that his conract was not going to be renewed by Charter Communications for the upstate of SC. Gary has contracted for Charter for a number of years. Many times being owed as much as $500,000.00 for several months by mortgageing his home and property to keep the business going. Gary continued to honor his contract and float the payroll until charter could catch up. This leaves as many as 40 installers out of work as of Thursday with the contract going to Prince Cable. Prince has been attempting to squeeze out the locals for some time now. Technicians were told that they could apply with Prince but no guarentees were made as to their being hired.
