Super dish

Ok all you dishers out there. I need help! My neighbor has a new super dish to get locals in nc. One reciever works but # 2 does not. Set it up for super dish and did the check switch thing. nothing works. It is a 3900 reciever and was working before the super dish was installed. I am a cable dog and know little about this crap. Help!
