Re: Is Cable dead? FTTP

CONSIDER THIS:
Cable, satellite up and down links, telephone, green twigs with blanket and fire, drums, flags, guys running with letters, strings attached to beer cans and fiber optic cable to each residence are all communication methods. So is speech. Those who insist on one mode over another are always going to be wrong. What I see lacking today is some sense of appropriate modes for communication---------kids now use cell phones to speak to folks in the next room-----and cable companies have deals to remove and buy back satellitte dishes. Each has it's place .
FIND YER NITCH; someone needs your skills.
Apartment dwellers should be nice to the cable guy and those out in the boonies need to know how to tweak a dish.
TRY TO MOVE UP THE FOOD CHAIN, bypass you subcontractor......all you have to loose is overhead....what is left is yours! (beerchug)
