I am willing to bet there will be a decent surge in satellite customers here in Central Fla due to the Hurricane damage.
There are many people in the areas not directly hit by Charley that have power but no cable because of damage to the fiber network. New customers are being told they have to wait until we have signal at the tap and we have no good answer for them when it comes to how long of a wait that will be.
These people have neighbors with Dish or Direct that are working fine after readjusting thier dishes.
Like I say, I'm just guessing, I would be interested to see the numbers if anyone has that info..
