Re: Trying to find out price info on drop buries

You'll have to excuse signal2, he really doesn't know what he is talking about. Remember, he is the one that got the grounding strand going as long as it did. JTcable if you are going to be under contract with a cable company in Fl. as of a couple of years ago 0-150 ft was $30, and then after that TWC(Brighthouse) they would pay you custom. That's what they called it. It was an hourly price. Which worked out to $24 and hour. But you had to get it approved before they would pay it. It wasn't much. If it's for anybody other than the Cable companies, it really depends on what your going to bury, how long, how deep, with conduit or not. The two questions you need to ask, How much labor is involved, and what cost is involved? Do you have to cut concrete, or ashpalt, so on and so forth. It's best to break it down like that. If your putting a bid proposal together put it into line items and it will show the break down of cost and labor to the customer. Good luck. You could always try the $2 a foot thing.
