This is great......For Direct Tv shareholders and Rupert Murdock...Now lets talk about the ones that have made them #1..the Installers ..and the installation companies . The installer is Direct TV to the customer. This is the only person that the customer ever sees. The installation companies that makes the phone calls and schedules the customer and makes sure that the customer is happy with the install with follow up calls after the install...My company calls these "Happy Calls". Now....Lets talk about our side of the fence.....I have got to the point where I really dont feel comfortable with any contract. After DTV cancelled Primes contract, and I received an email that Friday afternoon in March at about 6:00pm saying that DTV had pulled their contract, and now Direct Activations have had the same thing happen. I was part of the Prime fiasco, but knew better than to deal with Direct Activations after talking to them..I dont want to be in the position again where I have installers that have did the work and I am having to figure out how I am going to get them paid .This business has really gone down hill rapidly the past year and I for one dont really trust any contract or company. Its bad to contract out to a company and get lots of work from them and be wondering if and when DTV is going to cut them loose. All of this has happened since Rupert has taken the Helm and a lot of the installers and installation companies have taken it another place. It is all a plot to take DTV in-house and They are on the fast track to being sucessfull. I am not impressed .. I took a big hit with the Prime deal..I had to settle with DTV and lost a great deal of money along with other companies. IF DTV would have really cared about the ones that made them #1 the installers and installation companies they would have paid the companies what was owed to them instead of us having to take what they offered ,their #s would have not been but a few million less in profit...Instead ...guess who takes the hit again...the little man..You and I .....So heres to ya Rupert...Your the Man!!!!!!!!!!!!
