I have ran the system II amps for the past 7-8 years, and never had any of these problems sweeping. The only problem I really had with these amps were, the seizure screws would loosen up after they had cooked in for a year or so. It sounds to me like you are trying to sweep amps with loose sezure screws. I know if i were having problems like you say, i would be checking out those seizure plugs before i did anything.

In my years of experience, i have always known SA equipment to be plug & play. You cut it in, set it up, and forget it. Try running some old Jerrold SJ450 for a while, and you will understand what i am talking about.
