I have been on a few different upgrades over the last five years for Mastec , CCI , Winn Caribe , CK Engineering , and Star Communications. Overall I would say that about 95% of the Management were clueless , and about 99% of the field workers ( splicers , construction , and QC ) were total hacks. I feel bad for the clueless MSO's who have new plant that is not going to last more than a couple of years until they start having serious problems. There are very few high quality, competent cable dawgs out there.
