Re: help with 870 S/A inputs


The system Im working in has a spec sheet that calls for the input of a HGD to be 12db. The outputs are 50db at ch 135, and 35db at ch 2. The noise figure of this equipment is 9 db. I know every amps alignment is being screwed up, but what can you do? May not be a real "purdy" picture if they connect a matrix gen, and check the performance of their new system. Their could be some tough questions about what the hell is going on. I have no clue as to why someone would not follow the recommendations of the manufacturer. Unless of course they think they are leaving their mark on the engineering world, or simply don't know what their doing.(smokin)
