Most of the work in Canada is now done by contractor. Videotron from Montreal got all the contractors to bid on their installation work and guest what they selected the cheapest one, so for a comapny with 1,800,000 sub, only 1 contractor at cheap rate, nice eh.... In Ontario, Roger 3,000,000 sub just did something similar. From what I heard, the samething was done and the same type of contract were signed. Guest what, the price of gas just went up by 20% in this country and all these contractors are not allow to go after a raise for the next 3 years. So we will see cheap work in Canada for a while with cheap PAY. So stay where you are, it is probably better than any where in Canada, specialy in Quebec were we pay more tax than any where in North America.
