We have some green ones here to. Someone said its the salt treatment that makes em keep the green coler. Ive found that its a matter of feel. The next time your on a green pole and close to earth stand up in the saddle and touch your knees to the pole. Cutting out is pretty hard once your hook is set. I still like the soft poles though. Its more comforting to see your hook sink in.
