When you ask for advice there is no need to be rude, just because you don't like the answer. He is correct in that there is supposed to be a thin film of dilectric left after coring, have you looked at things like connector pin length (are they all cut the same length), are the seizure screws to tight or are the connectors loose. Been sweeping to 860 in a .715QR system for 4.5 years and have no problems like you describe (PPC 2-piece, LRC 3-piece and PPC 3-piece connectors) . TCI quit using QR due to a loop resistance problem in the 2200 home Super-D architecture, maybe the problem has more to do with the a mismatch of components than with the cable.
