Yup, in the same boat. And my mentors were in there 40s when I was 18 and strapped on my first set. I know for a fact that at least one of them still climbs once in a while cause he wrote me that he got yelled at for being on a pole at his age by some pencil neck. Its still a good biz but things have sure changed huh.
