I've seen a lot of this in Georgia. This comes from the person or business who brought this person into the industry. Probably someone who is greedy for the $$$$. Down the road this dealer rips of his worker for jobs and recruits another to do yet another unprofessional installation.
Many dealers hire bootleg techs that do crappy jobs to cheat them out of quality pay. Think about it.
