Worked on some issues with AM transmitters years ago. The arrestor loops were blown out of the transmitters towers. One way to decrease the interferance was to beef up the bonding/grounding of the plant near the towers. This was an effort to bleed the interferance to ground. It was succesful to a point. We even talked the AM station inot shutting down for awhile to pin point the source. Now we had a rough time getting them to spend any cash to repair the arrestor loops.
