Re: safety

Well I am sorry for your friend. Safety meetings can only do so much. It is pretty much up to oneself to implement procedures and cautions based on the good ole standby common sense and things that were brought to his/her attention at safety meetings. I have been hookin' over 20 years myself and have not only seen my fair share of injuries, I experienced more than my share myself.
Things happen, brother. But you and I and everyone needs to remember that this is quite literally a dangerous profession we are in. When we get too comfortable, we relax. Not always a good thing. I myself admit to being too comfortable, thats the reason I have gotten hurt. I have taken risks because I was too comfortable in my abilities. Learn quick after that first time. At least until the next time.

Please relay my families condolences to your friends family...(usa)
