Guys, I'm sorry to say that as far as these guys are concerned there is always another guy with a backhoe/plow/drill/& bucket truck to take your place. They are probably right!

There will be another'contractor' waiting to take your place and "make their millions." The problem is that many if not most of these guys do not have any idea what it cost to do business. They are either going broke & think 'if I can only make payments one more month', or they are new to contracting.

They may or may not have some field experience, but little or no business experience. ie: They see $1 per foot and 2000' daily and think, hey that's $10K to $12K per week or $500K per year. (I think you can see where I am going with this)

I've seen it in the underground construciton side for the past couple of years now.
