Re: Help with a Venture...

Just want to say that if you arent carrying a state business license and a city license you are operating illegally, UNLESS you arent considered the prime contractor. In other words, if you are nt directlt working for the customer. If you are operating illegally doing prime work you can face a hefty fine and possible time in jail. (I would imagine it depends on which state and city you are operating in) I know this because I just incorporated less than 2 years ago and had to go through all the rigarimo. Its a timely process and it does take quite a bit of money. Dont you think everyone would be working for themselves if it was that easy? Their has to be some trade off. Twitch3 if you want some advise about the procedures email me directly at : (-REDACTED-) I would be glad to help you along. For the rest of you unlicensed contractors, well you' re the reason our prices are as low as they are. Get the licensing, bonding and insurance.
