Lake...??
They went and built a man made lake right in front of
Sun Devil Stadium. It's about a mile, or so, long....
As soon as
they got that done, all the real-estate on the
Tempe side of the lake got
grabbed up in a hurry...
If it wasn't bought up already.
There's a big Hotel at Mill next to the Lake, a park and
some other stuff...
At night, it's all lit up along the lake on the Tempe side
and
across the Mill Ave bridge....
It's pretty cool...
They're
doing some things on the Scottsdale side, too.
I left there around
September of '02 and have only been back for
a few weeks in November of last
year so, I'm sure alot has
been done since the last time I was in
Tempe....
To be honest with
ya, I can't wait to get back there... I'm
looking for work in Phoenix as we
speak, but pickin's seem
to be mighty slim since the Phoenix re-build has
ended in '01
or '02.....
