if you go to texas all you need is your general liability insurance in the amount the company wants. most of the time it will be 1 mill. then pick a spot you like and get your self known and visit various companies and put a price list together and go for it. it may take a while but once you get you contract treat them good and they will do you right. i am starting for the 2nd time and i have two cable companies i do work for. they are small and i do work in 9 systems. so don`t also believe big is the best.
