I believe the term "dawg" or "cabledawg" is a label other bestow upon you and not one you label yourself.
Alot like the term "cowboy" Most real cowboys dont consider themselves to be cowboys due to the fact that they know real cowboys and dont feel quite like them match up yet.
Same is true I feel with cabledawgs. If you are a true one you wont have to identify yourself as one ........it will show itself (if thats good or bad I dont know....LOL) and others will hang that badge of honor upon you. Maybe not even in your presence but it will be said.
As for me......... well.... I have been accused one or twice of being both of those things in my lifetime. Do I think I am? I dont think I am there yet. I will just let my life be the judge.
