Need SDA 5000 help on value/options

Hi guys!

I have an oppurtunity to buy an SDA 5000 from my employer for $2,500.

It was just serviced and calibrated by Acterna on 10-24-03 and has the reverse sweep option. It also comes with a brand new extended life battery(installed when calibrated). It has a good case and minimal scratches on the screen...

Will I need any other options (like stronger transmitter or pathtrack) to be able to sweep with it?

Is $2,500 too much? I know this is a good meter and I am the only one to touch it since it came back from calibration...

I will be leaving tomorrow and need to know if I should take it with me or leave it here.

Thanks in advance!

Vic
you need to have enough wisdom to keep from making the wrong decisions but enough courage to make the right ones
