Please, splices won't give you CTB or CSO. The only thing a splice will give you is a bit of signal loss (could be 0.01 dB) if done properly, but one thing splices will give you is reflection, and when the reflection is bad due to many of them, this is when you get picture that seem to have multiply itself. You then loose the sharpness of the picture. This is call a system with a bad VSWR.
