Rumor has it Comcast may be taking over the Warner system in Houston if they don't straighten up their act. Houston's notorious for being one of the worst (and most corrupt) systems in the US to work in. The national companies usually don't last very long. Maybe things'll change. Warner demoted their VP of Tech Ops at the beginning of the year (probably should've fired him)
and is looking for a new one. Warner spent over $20M to try to improve their service with some fancy system, GPS, laptops, etc. Look for a new GM in the next few months.
