If you do field work only (read NODE level) get one that read from + 5.0 dBm to -60 dBm. If you do headend work (read opt. TX level) get one that read from +20 to - 55 dBm. Some have a tone signal that can be used for fiber ID. I personally like Nettest one, but many other are available.
