The drive level for the SA 1310 reverse Tx in the 6940 node should be 36 dBmv at the test point for an FP laser and 32 dBmv for a DFB laser. remember this is a 20 dB test point so 16 and 12.
The test point is 14 dB reletive to the transmitter input, the Tx has 6 db of gain. when seting the drive level be sure to treat this as a 20 down test point.
With that being said your ctual level hitting the laser is 30 for an FP and 26 for a DFB. but for technicians use the 36 or 32 drive level theis will provide a minimum 40 C/N on a 10 dB link.
