Just think of a BOX at the INPUT of the RETURN SIDE of the NODE or AMPLIFIERS. The INPUT LEVEL of that BOX should be between 15 and 20 dBmV, from 5 to 40 MHz. Do not FORGET to add the insertion loss of the TEST POINT. Then align your return using what ever return alignment system you are using. I have attached a GIF presentation of this mail.
